Ben Folds @ Deer Valley w/Utah Symphony

Ben Folds came to Utah again for the second time in a couple of years. He played up at Deer Valley near Park City. It was great as he played with the Utah Symphony & Orchestra for 2 hours. He's an incredible musician and the show was amazing. I just wish we would've gotten there earlier so we didn't have to sit so far back. Plus where we were at the ground was really hard, even with the blanket. Still awesome though.
Tim, Austin and I.
Me and the wife. I'm glad she likes Ben Folds too.
Check out the amazing venue for the concert. The air was fresh and it was beautiful and green at about 8,000 ft up in the mountains.

At the park

Aunt Debbie helped Olivia down the slide. It's a pretty big one, but she's pretty brave.
Second cousin Ethan is obviously a lot more comfortable on the swing, I don't think Olivia is really sure what she's supposed to do, so she just dangles from the front of the swing seat.

18 Month Photo Shoot by Jake

My friend Jake took us out to take pictures of Olivia last week for her 18 month pictures. We got a few of us as well. His pictures are the best, they always turn out really good. Olivia's eyes are beautiful in this one. Check out how gorgeous my wife is. Because of her I'm going to have to sit out on the porch with my shotgun waiting for Olivia to come home from dates when she's older.

...more from the 18 month photo shoot

Dancing with BBQ

We went and tried this new BBQ place, well, not new, but it won best BBQ in Utah last year, so we thought we'd try it. It was really good, it's called Pat's BBQ in Salt Lake. Olivia really liked it too. She at Talin's whole bowl of red beans and rice. She also really enjoyed the jazz music that was going on, she's got great rhythm.

Yummy banana

She just won't allow you to try and feed her anymore. If she's going to eat, it will be all her. She decided to take the banana from me and eat it by herself. She wasn't holding back either, she tried to eat the whole thing in one bite.

4th of July

We went to see the fireworks at Murray Park again this year. Olivia couldn't make up her mind if she was interested or not. Half the time she'd say, "Oh wow!" and the next second she'd be running around not paying any attention to the booming fireworks. What a face!
Grandma got me some glow sticks. Yay!
Playing with Uncle Clinty.
Everyone but Olivia...Look at the camera.

Mmhhh...Icee

The day at the pool just wouldn't be complete without an Icee in hand. You can't feed it to her either, she wants to do it all herself.

Summer fun at the pool

Mom's been taking Olivia out to the pool a lot lately. She really likes going and playing with other kids.
It's never good enough to have her own sippy cup, she has to use everybody else's stuff. In this case, mom's water bottle.

Not sure about the swing

This post is a little bit out of date. It was a month or so ago at her friend Ryder's birthday at the park. Unfortunately daddy didn't get to be there for this one.

Potty Time

Align CenterWe're trying to teach her to use the potty. She's only gone successfully once or twice into it, so we'll have to see where she goes from here.
She wants to play with it more than she wants to use it properly.
