The bathroom before the remodel

That was how the cement board was before I got to it. I ripped off the old shower/tub surround and found that they didn't decide to keep the gaps to a minimum. Easy exit for the water to get out into the wall. The best part is the gap going up the crack in the corner has the house electric panel right behind it. I guess the former owners didn't mind the possibility of getting electrocuted to death. This bathroom remodel took soooooo long, but it's finally done.
You can see that right in the middle of the stupid bathroom there is a 6 in copper drain pipe coming from the upstairs. I had to build around it, and that was probably the most time consuming part of the entire remodel.

Bathroom after the remodel

It looks just a little bit better than before. Amazing how such a small room took me almost six months to finish between work and school. I did have to build around a lot of crap, but finally the stupid thing is done.

Olivia's first time to the Hogle Zoo

We hadn't had a chance to take Olivia to the zoo yet, so today was her first time. I'm not quite sure she understood what was going on, so she pointed out the less looked at things; like the balls in the elephant cage, the leaves next to the tigers, or the trash on the ground next to the apes. I think she had a good time though. This monkey seriously scratched for like 10 mins straight without stopping. Olivia seemed to enjoy it though.

...more Hogle Zoo

Olivia seemed to like the giraffes the best. When we went to see the elephants, all she could say was "ball", because they had big play toy balls in the pen with them. Yes, Daddy did my hair today.

...more Hogle Zoo

She doesn't like the decorative animal works. She didn't like the Lion here, and you'll see she doesn't like something else in the next few pictures.
She doesn't like the carousel either...obviously. Look at how evil Mommy is as she laughs at Olivia's fear!!!...

Spinning around

I guess I did catch her doing her dizzy spinning dance. It's not quite as dangerous as her putting the blanket over her face and running into the wall.

Bed head

Check it out. She just work up and she has the sweetest hair. I didn't get the video recording in time for her spinning around in circles. I guess it's her new thing to make herself dizzy.

Olivia Easter egg hunt

It's obviously a little late on this post, but I've been trying to get my videos to work on the blog, so the Easter video is just now getting posted.

Hanging out at the Clark's

She's so cute. I had to put these pictures up. Bryan and Christy put these up after their trip to Utah. This one is just gorgeous.
Don't be fooled by her look of unrest. She is definitely loves her daddy a lot.

Visiting Grandma for Mother's Day

I'm not sure what Olivia was thinking. I guess she doesn't quite understand where we were. But this is my grandma whom we named Olivia after. Olivia "Verona" Anderson. I thought it was proper they finally meet. She sure was having fun at the cemetery, you couldn't stop her from running around and almost falling on every headstone. She liked the flowers and balloons too...
Good thing Mom brought plastic flowers.

Mii playing the Wii

Olivia is playing the Wii with Mommy. She was doing really good.

Front yard taking shape

This was our house before we bought it back in 2007. As you can tell it wasn't looking too nice. Everything was overgrown and you can't even see the house. It's been a work in progress, but as you can see in the subsequent pictures, the yard is looking just a little bit better. Next home update should be the basement bathroom. These are all the after pictures.
