That was how the cement board was before I got to it. I ripped off the old shower/tub surround and found that they didn't decide to keep the gaps to a minimum. Easy exit for the water to get out into the wall. The best part is the gap going up the crack in the corner has the house electric panel right behind it. I guess the former owners didn't mind the possibility of getting electrocuted to death. This bathroom remodel took soooooo long, but it's finally done.

Olivia's first time to the Hogle Zoo
We hadn't had a chance to take Olivia to the zoo yet, so today was her first time. I'm not quite sure she understood what was going on, so she pointed out the less looked at things; like the balls in the elephant cage, the leaves next to the tigers, or the trash on the ground next to the apes. I think she had a good time though.
This monkey seriously scratched for like 10 mins straight without stopping. Olivia seemed to enjoy it though.

Spinning around
I guess I did catch her doing her dizzy spinning dance. It's not quite as dangerous as her putting the blanket over her face and running into the wall.
Bed head
Check it out. She just work up and she has the sweetest hair. I didn't get the video recording in time for her spinning around in circles. I guess it's her new thing to make herself dizzy.
Olivia Easter egg hunt
It's obviously a little late on this post, but I've been trying to get my videos to work on the blog, so the Easter video is just now getting posted.

Visiting Grandma for Mother's Day
I'm not sure what Olivia was thinking. I guess she doesn't quite understand where we were. But this is my grandma whom we named Olivia after. Olivia "Verona" Anderson. I thought it was proper they finally meet. She sure was having fun at the cemetery, you couldn't stop her from running around and almost falling on every headstone. She liked the flowers and balloons too...
Front yard taking shape
This was our house before we bought it back in 2007. As you can tell it wasn't looking too nice. Everything was overgrown and you can't even see the house. It's been a work in progress, but as you can see in the subsequent pictures, the yard is looking just a little bit better. Next home update should be the basement bathroom.
These are all the after pictures.
